Can the air-conditioning be adjusted – it is too cold/hot?
Air-conditioning can be adjusted using the control dial in the room. Simply turn the dial clockwise to be warmer or anticlockwise for cooler temperatures. There is also a fan speed control at the bottom of the thermostat. Please contact concierge should you require assistance.
Where can I store my bags or ski gear?
We have a complimentary onsite heated storage room for skis, boards and snow gear available to all guests. Simply drop your gear off and it will all be nice and dry for you in the morning. We don’t allow ski gear in our rooms or ski boots in the lobby to prevent any damage.
Our Concierge team can also store your belongings free of charge if you have an afternoon flight or need to do some last minute shopping after check out. We also provide complimentary long term storage for luggage if you are in Queenstown for the many multi-day walking and biking trails in the region. Our Concierge team will issue you claim tickets for our secure storage area.
We can store valuables in our hotel safe while you are out of the hotel or long term whilst on tramps/trails. Please ask to speak to the Hotel Duty Manager at the front desk.
Do you have an Umbrella/Adaptor?
Umbrellas and adaptors can be borrowed from the reception desk. A small bond is placed on the room and removed when the adapter is returned.
Can I get a Newspaper?
The hotel supplies the NZ Herald and this can be arranged to be delivered to your room. Alternatively you can collect one from the Concierge desk.
Can you post my mail here?
Yes – just handover the mail stamped and we can post it for you. We can also organize a courier which can be charged back to your room.
What time is check out?
Checkout time is 11am. A later checkout time can be arranged by speaking with
reception, but incurs a late checkout fee. Members of IHG Rewards Club receive complimentary late checkouts subject to availability.
If we want an extra bed, rollaway or cot do we have to pay extra?
Baby cots are free and for an extra bed (rollaway) it is $65.
How do I book transport?
We are able to book a taxi or airport shuttle for you, simply call the concierge team by dialling 7 on your in-room phone or stop by the concierge desk in the lobby. We recommend reserving transport in advance.
Where can I book activities?
Our concierge team will be more than happy to help you with activity bookings. We have a concierge team member on from 7am to 10pm and can be found at the concierge desk by reception in the lobby or by dialling 7 from your room.
Where is the business centre?
Our business centre is located on the ground floor by reception and is open 24 hours a day. There are two computers with printing and scanning services available free of charge. If you require assistance, simply see a member of the reception team.
Do you have laundry services?
Yes, our guest laundry is located on the 5th floor and offers washing machines and dryers, each requiring $3. Washing powder will dispense if you wish, otherwise you may add your own detergent. Please note our machines only accept $1 and $2 coins which can be exchanged at the reception desk.
Do you have currency exchange?
Yes, you can exchange Australia, American, European, British, Japanese and Canadian currency at the reception desk.

How do I get an outside line? How do you dial an international number?
To get an outside line, lift the receiver of the phone and dial 1, then dial the number you require. For international calling you need to lift the receiver, dial 1 for the outside line, then 00, followed by the country code, the area code and the number. Local and International charges apply.
Where can I access the internet and how much is it?
We understand that while away from home, it is important that our valued guests stay connected. In each of our stylish guest rooms you will find Wi-Fi and wired high-speed internet access. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the hotel and is free to our guests for 45 minutes per day per device (1GB cap).
If you would like to continue using internet, a package can be purchased. Charges are as follow: A 24 hour plan for $29.99, 12 hour plan for $10 or a 7 day plan for $115. Once you reach your time/data limit, Wi-Fi codes are available for purchase at our front desk at a charge of $10 for 12 hours (1GB limit), $29.90 for 24 hours (3GB limit) or $115 for 7 days (10GB limit).

Can I have a wake up call?
Yes we can arrange a wake up call.
How much does the car-parking cost or is it free?
Crowne Plaza Queenstown offers valet and self car parking services at a cost of $17 (NZD) per day.
You may park outside the main entrance of the hotel on Beach Street where you will be greeted by our friendly hotel staff who will take care of your vehicle. The hotel is on the corner of Beach Street and Lake Street.
Car parking is available to registered guests only and the area is equipped with lights, although it is not covered.

How long to get to the airport and how do I get there?
We can arrange a taxi or shuttle for you; otherwise we can arrange a map and detailed directions to the airport for you.
Depending on time of day it would take 30 minutes – 45 minutes to get to the Queenstown airport, the cost for a taxi would cost approximately $35- $50. Cost for shuttle is $X for one person. At concierge, we can arrange that for you.
What time is the restaurant open?
Available from 6am every morning till 10.30am, threesixty Restaurant features an extensive breakfast buffet which includes a chef stationed exclusively to cook your eggs or speciality omelette to your liking.
Available daily from 6pm till late, dinner at threesixty restaurant showcases some of the most innovative and freshest local cuisine .
