Business travel can be draining, we know. Sometimes you feel so exhausted that the thought of further activity becomes contrary. When we were designing our Queenstown Business Travel Guide, we wanted to include a section with activities that rejuvenate your mind and body. The below activities are suitable as team activities, family and friend activities or even solo activities.
Queenstown has seven spectacular golf courses to choose from. From the perfectly manicured, crisp green grass of the resort courses like Millbrook to the majestic mountain ranges that loom large, Queenstown offers some of the most beautiful courses in New Zealand. Play a round with your colleagues or play solo, the choice is yours.

Step It Up
Queenstown is bursting with walking and biking trails. Get the team out of the office and experience the natural beauty of Queenstown. We know tracks like the Routeburn and Milfrodtracks, while incredible, are lengthy, and two – four days hiking might not suit a team travelling for business. That’s ok, there are many shorter tracks that offer just as many beautiful views. Try one of our personal favourites Roys Peak Track; and enjoy views out over Lake Wanaka and Mount Aspiring. Another favourite is the Ben Lomond Track, walk three to four hours to Ben Lomond Station for beautiful views. For more walks see the link below.
Taking To The Water
Organise an adventure for your whole team on one of Queenstown’s beautiful rivers. You could try one of the river jets, like the Shotover Jet. Or for something a little less hair raising why not try one of the kayaking tours through Mount Aspiring National Park, Milford Sounds, Glenorchy and more. For something different try River Boarding on the Kawarau River with a world pioneering company. Drift down the river or take on grade two and three rapids with specially designed boards for Riversurfing. It’s a splash.

When attempting any of the walking tracks in Queenstown it is important to be prepared. Warm clothes and layers are essential so that you can strip down or rug up piece by piece as temperatures and weather patterns can be unpredictable in the higher altitudes.
